LAPLACE

The LAPLACE was born on the 1st of January 2007 resulting from the merger of three mixed-research units (CPAT, LGET, LEEI) and a welcome team (LE), the LAPLACE is the most important research concentration in France for electrical power and plasmas. In 2009 the LAME electronics laboratory has joined the Laplace. The research group “Lumière & Matière”, represented by a task force of 20 researchers and PhD students, has continuing interest in lighting systems since 1970.

In this project LAPLACE is involved in photometric characterisation of LED products in order to support SMEs in SSL for evaluating the quality and providing advice to lighting designers who are looking for innovative energy saving solutions.
