INRIM is the Italian national public body with the task of carrying out and promoting scientific research in metrology, new technologies and materials. INRiM has laboratories for the gonio-radiometric and photometric measurements and characterizations of SSL and luminaires and it has knowledge in lighting engineering with on field measurement, in development of ad hoc measurement systems, in evaluation of perception of SSL. Its expertise will be focused in Quality Metrics for SSL characterisation, with contributions to Traceability, Measurement methods and Human perception of SSL.
