Federal Office of Metrology METAS

METAS is the Swiss National Metrology Institute. METAS operates the full range of quantum electrical primary standards: Josephson voltage standard (JVS) both DC and AC, quantum Hall effect (QHE) both DC and AC. The laboratory Power and Energy has a long experience in the domain of metering, calibration of high accuracy reference power meters. The laboratory has also made an inroad in the field of power quality and is developing an infrastructure supporting the local power industry.
