Centro Conservazione e Restauro CCR

The “La Venaria Reale” Conservation and Restoration Centre (CCR), was established in 2005 as a foundation and has become the third Italian centre for restoration.

For the Foundation the following research fields are particularly important about the use of SSL in cultural heritage; the colour rendering specification, to evaluate the perception during exhibition or restoration activities, the optical characterization, to study ageing effects on light-fastness objects and, the thermal characterization, to study the heat diffusion in small enclosures (i.e. showcases).
